2017 Day at the Fort
The 22st Annual Fort Day celebration will be held from 10 AM – 4 PM Saturday, May 27th & 11 AM – 4 PM Sunday, 28th, 2017 at Fort Hollingsworth. No gate fee!
LIVING HISTORY – This is the place where history lives. Post Revolutionary war living historians, period sutlers and traders, Civil War historians, Fox Fire museum veteran Barbara Taylor Woodall will be set up, United Daughters of the Confederacy, drop spindle demonstrations. Sunday service with Brother Joey Young preaching.
Dance – 1860 dancers.
CAR SHOW – Saturday, May 27, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Entry fee $20.per vehicle. Trophies for the top three vehicles and door prizes will be given.
FOOD – BQ, fried pies, boiled peanuts and more.
